About Bohan Mathers

Thomas Bohan, Esq., Ph.d., first opened the firm as Thomas Bohan & Associates in 1982. Patricia Mathers, Esq. joined the firm and later assumed management of the practice in 2002. At which time it was renamed, Bohan Mathers & Associates.

Patricia brings a strong background in engineering and technical expertise to the firm’s patent work. She is also fluent in German. She developed a substantial German client base.

Then, in 2013, Perkins Olson, PA, a Portland law firm that specializes in business law, acquired Bohan Mathers & Associates from Patricia. They renamed the firm Bohan Mathers, LLC.

Each practice continues to serve its own clientele under its existing name while maintaining its personnel, unique characteristics, and specialized services.
